Process

Designing an outdoor space is a process with three distinct phases. As you begin to consider such a project, here’s a snapshot of what you can expect:

Initial Consultation: We will meet at your property for an initial consultation that generally lasts about an hour. During this meeting, we’ll tour the property, review existing site conditions, take photos, and discuss your needs and preferences. Consultations cost $125 payable at the time of the visit. (This fee is deducted from the overall project cost if you proceed with our firm for installation.)

Concept & Design: This is the creative part. Once we fully understand your must-haves, we’ll conduct a site analysis including measurements, take detailed photographs, and provide a proposed layout for your garden including — outdoor living areas, lawn and open space, planting beds and hardscapes. Before starting this phase, we’ll estimate the time and cost of getting us to a conceptual design and final plan.

Installation: Once we’ve finalized the design, we will provide a preliminary plan and budget for transforming our design into reality. We’ll oversee the execution of the project including hiring and managing subcontractors and purchasing plants through our network of vendors. We will be on-site throughout the entire process to answer questions and ensure work is performed to specification and your satisfaction. Any modifications will be discussed with you in advance to ensure there are no surprises.
